Through the End of September

I have had these pictures up for awhile now, but just haven't sat down long enough to do anything else with the blog.  I'm sure some think... well you are a stay at home Mom so you should have time to keep up.  I'm sure there are some SAHM who are superwomen and can keep up with everything... but I am not one of them.

Kinsey is still not sleeping through the night.  She was really only getting up once or twice until teething hit.  Teething has lasted for about a month and we are just getting past it.  K was up every two hours or so and I was exhausted.  She is starting to get back to three or four hour stints so things are slowly getting back to normal.  During that month I just did what I could to survive the lack of sleep and keeping up the house.  Thankfully she has started napping longer in the afternoon so Mommy gets a pick-me-up nap too!

Below is what we have been up to the past couple of months up to the end of September.

Below:  I just love it when Kinsey looks up at me.

Below:  Daddy always gets Kinsey ready to take a bath.  Sometimes they get a little silly.

Below:  Speaking of silly, thank you Uncle Greg for the matching shirts!

Below:  Kinsey loves to be thrown in the air.

Below:  Grandpa is always fun!

Below: MMMMMM yummy feet!

Below:  Helping Mom with laundry!

Below:  Picture before church.

Below:  Kinsey having fun with her cousins (Jed left and Met right).  Jed and K are having a great time and I think Met thinks they are crazy!

Below:  Kinsey and Met... they are 3 months apart in age.

Below:  Just swinging K around.  I love her giggles.

Below:  Kinsey and I before her first time to have cereal.

Below:  Mom reading "The Gas We Pass" with Kinsey and Addison.  I'm sure Gig was smiling in Heaven while they were reading this story.  HAHA

Below:  Keiffer trying to entice Kinsey to crawl.

Below:  Kinsey and Ainslie playing.

Below:  Kinsey hanging out with Poppa and rocking an orange hat.  She always has a smile for Poppa.

Below:  Lisa feeding Kinsey her cereal.

Below:  Ava helping out and feeding Kinsey.

Below:  Kinsey always helps me with folding laundry.  She must think I need practice because sometimes I get to fold it several times.

Below:  This is what happens when you feed a tired Kinsey who likes to "help".

Below:  Hanging out with Uncle Mike and Aunt Megan.

Below:  GO POKES!

Below:  As you can tell Daddy is a good influence on K.

Below:  Kinsey got Dad a card for his birthday.  Since she can't sign it yet, I let her have it to give it some love.  She played with it for awhile, bent it up a little, and chewed on it.

Below:  Jed dressed as a pirate!

Below:  Addison is a pirate and has her pet parrot.

Below:  Eating is always a good time.

Below:  Kinsey was sick and had to take an antibiotic.  She HATED to take it with a passion.  It was a battle every time I had to give it to her.  She hadn't even taken it yet but must have known it was going to be bad because she picked up the bottle and started crying.

Below:  K loves Pinky the giraffe Grandmom gave her.

Below:  K loving on Butterball, Poppa's kitty.

Below:  Kinsey's first time to swing was at Grandma Brenda's house.  She loved it!

Below:  K's first soccer game was Alyssa's!

Below:  Hmmmm was it this green stuff??

Below:  Enjoying snuggles with K.  She is so busy these days that I don't get as many snuggles.

Below:  K loves her table toy.  The green flap on top is her favorite.

Below:  I just love my lil lady.

Below:  Oliver is always hanging out with us outside.  K just loves him and her face brightens every time she sees him.

Below:  One word....ornery.

Below:  There is just something about Grandma.  K always relaxes with Grandma.  We just love her so much!

Below:  The next several pictures are K's 7 month pictures.

I decided to try out making my own baby food.  It is so easy and I love it!  It tastes so much better than the store bought baby food.

Below:  1st you steam it. These are carrots.

Below:  Then you puree it.

Below:  Then you put it in ice cube trays.

Below:  Then you freeze it.

Below:  Once you are done freezing you put them in a freezer bag and warm as needed.

Until next time.
