It's Official

Post Date: 2011-06-01

It's official. The deadline to turn in paperwork at Continental to agree to take the relocation package was Friday. Ryan turned his in on Thursday. While I knew we were going to move the entire time, it is now official. It is kind of a weird feeling to be honest. I fully support this move and believe it is the best decision for Ryan and I... I'm still a little scared and anxious. I know where Ryan and I want to live (Guthrie) but there are still so many unknowns. Right now we do not really have a clue as to when we are moving other than most likely sometime in the first half of next year. It is possible that it could be sooner. Hopefully we will be getting a tentative schedule soon. Those of you who know me know that I am a planner. I need to physically but more importantly emotionally prepare for this move. It will be very exciting, stressful, and sad all at the same time. There are several things that are helping me through this process.

- God... Jeremiah 29:11 - He has a plan for me and I trust where He is leading Ryan and I.

- Ryan... he is my rock. He understands my roller coaster of emotions and understands. I am so happy this journey will be taken with him.

- Family... Both Ryan and I's family support this move and I know we will all work hard to make it feel like we never left.

So most people are probably like "Julie... come on you are only moving an hour away." Guthrie is better than Houston and I 100% agree... and silly or not the one hour is a big deal to me.
