Ryan and I had a busy weekend. Friday night I went to Oklahoma City to a bachelorette party for my friend Ashley. It was a lot of fun and good to see some friends I have not seen in awhile. Dillon and Ashley are a great pair and I wish them all the happiness. I will miss them when they move to North Carolina... but I guess that means there will be some road trips in our future.
Friday night Ryan went to the Cattleman's dinner in Perry. He went with his parents and Greg. Apparently they make an awesome chicken fried steak. Too bad I missed out on that one!
Saturday Ryan and I met his family in Stillwater to eat for Kelly's birthday. We went to El Vaquero which is Ryan and I's FAVORITE restaurant. Most of his family gets the Carne Tapatio. I can't believe we forgot to tell the waitress that it was Kelly's birthday!!! He could have totally had his picture on the birthday wall with the sombrero!
Ryan and I are still gathering information regarding his company moving. We met with a mortgage lender and a relocation specialist last week who answered a lot of our questions. This upcoming weekend we will be going on a pre-decision trip in the Oklahoma City area. The relocation company has already called us and gave us the name of our real estate agent who will be our tour guide. We have requested to tour the Guthrie area. It has been a crazy past couple of weeks, but we will get it all figured out.
I have been joking lately about how I would like to take a break from life... but I need life to stop while I am taking a break so it does not pile up on me while I am gone. That is just what life is though. Life is full of wonderful things, unexpected things happen both good and bad, ups and downs, and many more. That is just life... an unknown journey that only God really knows where you are headed. I am planner so you can imagine my struggle with the unexpectancies of life. So as I continue this crazy journey called life I am working towards letting go and letting God. However, I never want to take a break from life portrayed in all the pictures I post in this blog. Through all the craziness life brings, my husband, family, and friends are the constant I can count on.
Below: Ryan and G-Baby look very ornery in this picture. Grayson is sure becoming quite the chatterbox these days. (Blogger has gone stupid on me this post... I am sure it is something that can easily be fixed and I just do not know how to do it, so for now this link will stay so you can see the picture.) a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjB9mhjG38wswh2PjnuzUWROGSoKxwY12_gznpbiz0ERdWcU727cLa3xCZe8_5OCxiB6jaOKVGKkNOFwAouRm6UIReKGy1jiPmjoSW9OwOc3WI6ZuwvFHnYSSHOo94i6zmDBeDu_b4Xsv84/s1600/DSC_0252.JPG"> Below: Grayson and I were playing football. Below: Tad received a four wheeler from Aunt Annie and family. He LOVES his four wheeler. Tad rides it over to my house sometimes. Mom said it takes them 30 minutes to get to my house because it only goes 2mph.
