Random Thoughts

Post Date: 2011-02-25

I know I promised pictures of Tad's 2nd birthday party... BUT there were to many cute pictures before the party day that I had to post them first. The birthday pictures have already been loaded for the next post so I PROMISE there will be party pictures on the next post.

It has been a busy past couple of weeks. Last week I had two blood drives on campus. One during the day (that required me to be there at 5am) and one the next night from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. They are always a lot of fun, just very tiring.

I would love to be a blood donor. I think it is a great cause and it is such an easy thing to do that saves so many lives. I have had several bad experiences with blood donations and IV's that I have not given in quite some time. 7 years to be exact. I always try to talk myself into giving again but I still have not worked up the courage. I am so proud of Ryan. OBI goes to Continental Resources every 56 days and he gives practically every time. He has already received his one gallon donor pin!

Here is a fun game I lifted from a friend's blog.
I THINK - Being an Aunt is the coolest thing in the world!
I KNOW - Ranch dressing is the best condiment ever invented.
I HAVE - The best family and friends a girl could ask for!
I WISH - I did not worry as much.
I HATE - Spiders! I scream and run as fast as I can. Definitely a flight mechanism.
I MISS - Grandpa Menno and Grandma Hazel. I miss them very much.
I FEAR - The unknown. Working on letting go and letting God.
I FEEL - Very happy.
I HEAR - The television.
I SMELL - Wine
I CRAVE - Spaghetti
I SEARCH - My soul and my heart for forgiveness.
I WONDER - What life will be like in 10 years.
I REGRET - Not keeping in touch with old friends.
I LOVE - My husband very much. He is my everything.
I ACHE - For all the helpless animals.
I AM NOT - A morning person. Anything before 10:00am is too early!
I BELIEVE - In God.
I DANCE - Like no one is watching. I love to dance!
I SING - Really loud in the car.
I CRY - When I am very frustrated. I wish I did not do that!
I DON'T ALWAYS - Return phone calls. Something I am working on.
I FIGHT - For what I believe in.
I WRITE - On here to capture history and share our family's story.
I WIN - Dr. Mario and James Bond video games against Ryan. Love ya babe!
I NEVER - Get in bed and actually stay there. I get up 3-4 times every night before I settle in.
I ALWAYS - Take lots of pictures.
I LISTEN - To the news every morning.
I CAN USUALLY BE FOUND - At work, school, or relaxing at home.
I AM SCARED - Of june bugs. They stick to you!
I NEED - Lots of niece and nephew time!
I AM HAPPY ABOUT - My life.
I IMAGINE - That one of these days I will feel like a grownup.

Now onto the pictures!
