Hello Everyone...
This post says I posted it on June 12, HOWEVER it actually went up on June 14. I start uploading pictures (my computer takes forever) and then eventually get around to adding the text.
Last weekend we went and played poker with our good friend Mike. We always have so much fun with him and our poker nights (some more than others depending on how your night is going.) I pretty much go and just hang out. I like to play poop on your neighbor (I think I am the only one that likes that game) and that is about it. It was good to see him again... and we need to get together more often.
Update on the MELONS: I will post a picture next time... but they are all starting to bloom. I have watermelons, cantaloupes, and wild pumpkins all blooming. I am SO EXCITED!!! Hopefully I will get some produce this year.
This Friday Ryan is taking me to the new wine bar in Stillwater for my birthday. We are meeting some good friends and it is sure to be a good time. Then, Saturday and Sunday we will be in Perry for the Ward family reunion. We look forward to this every year. Kirk's family is a lot of fun.
This week Ryan is in North Dakota for work. Haven't heard much yet from him yet, but will get to talk to him this evening. Through text messages and picture messages he has sent me a picture of an old Ditch Witch and has e-mailed me a picture of a moose he saw! How cool is that!
Other than that... below are a bunch of recent pictures.
Below: Ashley, Tad and Lisa are working on his Daddies Father's Day gift. Shhh don't tell. They made hand and foot prints for him that can hang on the wall.
Below: Tad found his big boy bike in the shed and we had to get it out for awhile. He really does a good job... just can't reach the petals.
Below: Tad randomness in the sand box!
Below: Such a sweet face!
Below: Mom, Lisa, Bryan, Ashley and Tad came and toured Ditch Witch one day. Tad loved riding around on the tour cart and grinned and waved at all the fork lifts passing by. After the tour he got to sit on some of our machinery (mainly the RT80). He had a BLAST on the equipment. He kept making engine noises and pretending to drive. So cute. He had so much fun.
Below: Trying out the other end of a machine.
Below: Tad pretty much loves the swimming pool.
Below: Ryan was showing Tad how to blow bubbles in the water. He has done it once that I have seen.
Below: Playing on Grandma's front porch.
Below: Tad loves playing in rain puddles... I mean come on, who doesn't!
Below: And the puddle gets even more fun!
Below: And the belly flop! Done on purpose of course.
Below: Uncle Ben thought he should try wading in the ditch. Notice the ornery onlookers in the background...
Below: Ben and Angie kept their niece and nephews one night and they came over to my mom's to have dinner and hang out. They sure are a lot of fun! The water gun fight was getting ready to begin.
Not sure if Ben won or lost the battle... It was 3 against one!
Below: Bryce was using Christian as a shield!
Below: Kayson(sp) was attacking me!!!
Below: Tad had taken his bath and Daddy was helping him brush his teeth. By the way, he has two more coming in for a grand total of 6!
Below: So what if I have brushed my teeth... can't pass up one of Gigi's chocolate chip cookies!
Below: Gigi's cookies are the best!
Below: They were starting a band!
Below: I think they were playing Mexican train.
Below: The next day everyone went swimming.
Below: Bryce was attacking the boat.
Below: Tad had to wear my goggles. He was having so much fun splashing in the water. Yes, he got back in with all of his clothes on.
Below: Ryan tried out this thing called a bacon burger dog. He grilled a hot dog, wrapped in hamburger, wrapped in bacon on the grill. I have to say it was very tasty!
Below: Tad preferred the corn on the cob.
Below: And Tad is back in the pool again. By this time he was out of clothes... so he just went naked.
Below: Tad's new love... kittens!
Below: Tad thought ALL of the kittens needed to be in the grave digger with him.
Below: Another day I had to give Tad a bath. :) He tends to get very dirty with his Aunt Julie.
Below: Tad is helping Gigi and Poppa drive.
Below: Is this how the swing is supposed to work? Uncle Ryan is so silly!!!
Below: Tad has spotted another kitten. He does a really good job holding them and not squeezing them.
Below: As bad as this looks... trust me he wasn't hurting the kitty. :)
Below: Tad kept trying to put the kitties in the water puddle (of course I didn't let him). I guess he thought the kitties would like the water puddles as much as he did!
Below: Grandma just finished giving Tad a bath! Tad loves bath time.
Below: We are teaching Tad how to say I love you Gigi and Poppa style. For as long as I can remember, when one of us left, they would stand at the porch and as we were driving out they would be waving and holding up one finger. To my Grandpa and Grandma this meant I love you and we all still continue to do this today.
Hope all you fellow Oklahoman's are staying out of the flood water. Garber is okay... but this rain sure isn't helping harvest.
Until next time.
Ju
